Who We Are
Central Oregon DJs began with a family... a father, son and grandson (and all of us are musicians as well as DJs). We'll be adding other DJs as we grow to better cover genres of music that require "a specific set of skills" (such as bilingual DJs and DJs who specialize in more niche genres of music).
John (DJ OlDōōd)
John has been doing sound and lighting since the early 1970s (for groups like Three Dog Night, ShaNaNa and Kool & the Gang). After doing that for a while he became Convention Center Director for the prestigious Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, did sound and lighting for the Colorado Ballet and later joined Stage Engineering & Supply (also in Colorado) as their shop foreman. Since moving to Oregon, he has done tech work primarily for churches and Christian concerts, and has done DJ work on the side. John's go-to music is Rock from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
Brandon (DJ Dunie)
Having grown up in a home where high tech was a daily event, Brandon has been working with computers, sound and lighting since an early age. He has been the DJ at many a wedding over the years, and brings his knowledge of music from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s to the game.
Wyatt (DJ Akila)
Wyatt also began using tech at a very early age. He loves just about every genre of music, especially from 2010 to the present. Besides being a DJ, he is a musician and has recorded and produced several albums, all currently streaming on most of the big streaming services.
Angel (DJ King Ese)
He's a family friend and has been working with us since 2023. He'll be the lead DJ for all Spanish language gigs (like Quinceañeras), but DJs most other genres of music as well.
